About Us
Together, we're a growing group of local, engaged, and strategic givers. We build community, fund solutions, support scholars, and produce data and research.
Collective giving for collective impact.
Giving circles help democratize philanthropy, welcoming people of all giving levels to the power of giving. Through the process, donors build strong connections and increase their engagement in the community.

Our approach is proven and powerful.
We know that poverty and childhood adversity often cycle across generations. In collaboration with Spokane Regional Health District, we provide synthesized data that shines a light on areas of greatest need, allowing us to proactively confront challenges and track need over time to determine whether or not we’re making a difference.
We believe we can. With your help, we believe we will.
Founded on passion and experience.
Amazing things happen when women support each other! We owe it all to these six founders: Mari Clack, Marcy Drummond, Vicki McNeill, Shirley Rector, Janet Skaden, and Vivian Winston. What started out as an idea to host one fundraising Luncheon has since evolved into a 501(c)(3) that has raised and awarded more than $6 million to support women and children.

Learn, grow, and give together.
Each month, we'll provide opportunities for you to expand your knowledge. Whether it's a donation drive, site tour, podcast episode or volunteer shift- you're sure to feel more connected to your community.
WHWF is a “No Guilt” organization. There aren’t time requirements, meetings, or mandatory events. Collective giving is about pooling resources together to make the strongest impact.
