Please read on for a special goodbye message from Heather -
Dear Friends,
It is with a full heart and deep gratitude that I share my decision to step down as Executive Director of Women Helping Women Fund, effective May 30, 2025, following the Give Like a Woman event. This decision did not come easily, as this organization and the incredible work we do have profoundly shaped me, both personally and professionally.
I am excited to share that I have accepted the role of Director of Neighborhood Services with the City of Spokane. This opportunity allows me to continue serving our community in a new way—working to strengthen neighborhoods, foster collaboration, and amplify the voices of Spokane’s residents. While I am thrilled for this next chapter, leaving WHWF is bittersweet after six and a half years. This organization, our mission, and each of you have been such a meaningful part of my life. Truly.
I am committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. As we focus on the success of the Give Like a Woman event and the future of WHWF, please know that my dedication remains unwavering.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead, to learn, and to make a difference. I look forward to cheering on WHWF’s continued growth and impact, knowing this organization will remain close to my heart.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Heather
