Women Helping Women Week 2025 was an unforgettable celebration of connection, generosity, and empowerment! From meaningful volunteer efforts to joyful community gatherings, this week was a powerful reminder of what happens when women come together.
Recognizing Women Helping Women Week
This year, both the City of Spokane and Spokane County issued official proclamations recognizing Women Helping Women Week. These proclamations reinforce the importance of investing in women, highlighting the impact of collective action in our community.
Coming Together for a Cause
Throughout the week, participants engaged in a variety of activities that fostered community, self-care, and philanthropy:
We had the privilege of volunteering with the Women’s Healing and Empowerment Network at Frieda’s Healing Center (FHC), helping to organize and prepare the space for spring.
A wonderful group gathered at LUSH for a fun and creative evening filled with hands-on activities—including making our own bath bombs!
The Books & Bites event brought together women to browse titles provided by Auntie's Bookstore while enjoying appetizers from Gander & Ryegrass and wine from Barrister Winery.
We hosted a fun-filled screening of Barbie at The Garland Theater, bringing people together for a great night at the movies.
Nearly 400 women gathered for Spokane Mom Prom, enjoying a lively evening of dancing and celebration while supporting WHWF.
Honoring International Women's Day
To close out the week and mark International Women’s Day, Numerica Credit Union—our generous Women Helping Women Week partner—spread joy with a mini bouquet giveaway on Saturday.
Thank You for Making It Possible
